Managed Deer and Hog Hunt

Managed deer/hog hunts, for Active Duty Soldiers and Retirees only, will be held at Fort Stewart Oct. 27, Nov. 10 and Dec. 29. Participants will be chosen by lottery drawing for one hunt only. DPW, Fish and Wildlife Branch will provide a game cleaning station at each hunt to assist sportsmen in processing their harvest. All weapons must be registered with Fort Stewart before the hunt.

Cost

$25 per person/per hunt

Registration Info

Participants must register in-person at the Low Country Adventure Center (bldg. 8325) or at Hunter Outdoor Recreation (bldg. 8454).

Application/selection dates:

Apply by Oct. 16 for the Oct. 27 hunt; lottery draw at noon Oct. 17

Apply by Oct. 30 for Nov. 10 hunt; lottery draw at noon Oct. 31

Apply by Dec. 18 for Dec. 29 hunt; lottery draw at noon Dec. 19
